Bridal Stylist/Sales Consultant

What you’ll be doing…

At Ivory Lane we strive to create a personalized shopping experience to suit the needs of every individual client. We love to have a collaborative work enivornment where every employee is involved in all aspects of our store. As a bridal stylist/sales consultant you will have many roles within Ivory Lane to make the most of the experience for our brides and their families. We are here to assist customers in the merchandise boutique, maintain the cleanliness of the store, book appointments, organizing bridal rooms and much more. As a bridal stylist you’ll be working one on one with clients to help them navigate our collection of dresses and accessories as well providing professional advice and confidence when placing orders. As a sales consultant in our merchandise boutique you are the first person our brides meet when they arrive at Ivory Lane Collective. We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, organized, client focused and able to handle a variety of tasks.


  • Answer phones and emails
  • Handle all kinds of appointments through bridal specific software
  • Copy, scan and fax documents both for internal and external use
    Office coordination
  • Generate sales of gift shop items
  • Process payments and deposits
  • Email clients appointment information, followups and other notes
  • Be a motivated and creative team player
  • Ensure sales floor is clean and well organized
  • Steam Dresses
  • Build a rapport and foundation of a trusting relationship with clients and the guests that are accompanying them
  • Take measurements to determine the correct size to order and take down all necessary information in a professional and organized manner
  • Assist with special events that the boutique participates in and hosts
  • Understand body types and fitting techniques
  • In depth knowledge of inventory to ensure that you help the bride select the dress that best suits her style, theme and budget

What we are looking for…

You are energized when meeting new people, assisting and inspiring them; clients leave happier than when they arrived! You are well versed in fashion and are interested in weddings and bridal trends. You have extensive experience working with clothing and have knowledge of fabrications and fit. You work well with lots of different types of people and you know how to flex your style. You are a true self-starter who is patient, organized and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service. You are a good listener with strong communication and people skills. You are comfortable with stressful situations and are able to handle the pace with calmness and grace. You enjoy working for a small independent business and have motivation to contribute and improve your workplace.

You’ll need to have…

  • Willingness to work in the evenings and weekends
  • Must include an intro letter along with resume to have full consideration
  • Smart Serve Certification a bonus
  • 1-3 years retail experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills and a friendly attitude
  • Love of fashion + bridal
